We would like to wish Mrs. I a very happy birthday! We hope you have a wonderful day!
I was so excited yesterday when I saw the cards and messages that Miss Baer brought to me. I have been enjoying the blogs, too. I appreciate the rest tip, Katherine - imagining a dull, calm color behind my eyes is a good help.
I have been hearing great things about all that you are doing, and especially how super the finale looks with Mr. Pedro. I also hear that you will get to see him dance yourself, when you go to the Nutcracker. How exciting! You must really be busy with holiday things, because this week you also did the Elf Store.
I read that lots of you went somewhere special for Thanksgiving. Well, in my case everyone comes to me. I had cooked special foods, and then my daughter helped me finish. We actually had lots of fun puttering around together in the kitchen. She told me school stories about her second graders.
I am sure you enjoyed having Mrs. Lipps, and I am also sure you will enjoy Mrs. Dishaw. She will do a wonderful job with you, so you do your best for her as well.
I miss you all.
Love,
Mrs. Ingram
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday Mrs. I! We would like to share what we are doing for the holiday with you!
Hi everyone!
I know you had fun this week, because it was conference day and you had an extra day off of school.
I am really enjoying the leaves outside - it is so beautiful, and when you step on them they have such a crunchy sound and give off a tangy smell that I like.
You just read “The Emperor and the Kite”. That is one of my favorite stories. I really like that you got to eat fortune cookies. (I don’t think I would have thought to do such a fun thing!)
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love,
Mrs. Ingram
I am so excited to hear what everyone is going to be on Halloween. If you were all in a big bunch, I think I could guess who is who just from your descriptions, even if I could not see your faces. You know, when I read your comments, I hear the words you write in your very own voices inside my head. It is really fun!
We never get trick-or-treaters at our house. We live down a long, tree-covered driveway, and you can’t see the house from the top of it, so I think in the dark it looks too creepy for anyone to be brave enough to try!
I know you all will have fun, and I also hope the football team does very well on their big game. I am so proud of you, and of the cheerleaders too.
Love,
Mrs. Ingram
We would like to wish you a “Happy Halloween”! You are in our thoughts and you are missed, but we hope you have at least a little fun on Halloween!
Hi Everyone!
I am really enjoying the blogs - Blake, Hannah, Sacha, Kirsten, katherine, wow! You brighten my days with your thoughts!
I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing right now, and that is good. I have to behave and mind my boss, the doctor! I hope that once I get in the habit of everything I am supposed to learn that I will be able to visit. I also look forward to coming back this school year to teach.
It means a lot to me to know that you are working hard for Mrs. Lipps. She is going to talk soon about the Starving Time - just imagine when she does that every single person in our school went to Jamestown - every teacher, aide, office person, special teacher, even the cafeteria people. That would be about 500 people. Then imagine that at the end of the Starving Time the only ones left alive were in Miss Baer’s and Mrs. Ingram’s classes. That would be about 40 people left alive. That might help you imagine how huge the Starving Time was!
Be good - I am thinking of you!
Mrs. Ingram
I was so happy today when I read your blogs for the first time. You really gave me a big boost! I am sorry that I have to miss school, but I know you needed a teacher who could be with you day after day, and Mrs. Lipps is going to be wonderful. She will love you, and you wll love her.
I am doing all the things I am supposed to do in order to get well, but it just takes extra time each day to make sure I remember each thing I am supposed to do. I also have to rest extra times, and you know how hard that would be to do during a school day.
I don’t know my doctor’s rules yet about visiting, but I really hope to be able to say hello in person after awhile.
I love you all, and you are going to do a wonderful job!
Mrs. Ingram
If you would like to leave a comment for Mrs. I, please do so. I know she will enjoy hearing from each and every one of you!
